Lost property

Left something at the station, or lost something en route? Find out how to track it down.

Where did you lose your item?

At one of our terminals: if you've lost a non-perishable item, it'll be kept at the lost property office at the station where it was found.

On the train: it'll be taken to the lost property office at the train's destination station.


You may need to pay collection, storage and/or postage charges.


Perishable items will be disposed of at the end of the working day – all the more reason not to forget that Camembert under your seat.

Help us help you

To help us find your item more quickly, make sure you have the following details to hand when you get in touch:

Date when the item was lost

Train number (coach and seat number if possible)

Description of the item: colour, make/model, brand/style, any distinguishable features. For tablets and phones, a description of any screensaver that may display will help us identify any potential matches. If possible, include a picture of the type of item you have lost.

Your contact details and address.

Station information

London St. Pancras

If you leave something in our departure lounge or on board our trains, please email our Eurostar lost property office at lost.property@eurostar.com. All non-perishable items are kept for 28 days.

For anything lost in St Pancras International outside of the Eurostar area, please contact the station’s lost property office at customerservice@excess-baggage.com or register your lost item online.

Paris Gare du Nord

The SNCF lost property office in Gare du Nord is open Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. It is located on level -1, next to the car rental agencies.

Brussels-Midi/Zuid

The SNCB lost property office is open 24 hours a day and you can register your lost item online. If it’s been found, you may need to pay a €5 fee when you collect it.

Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal

If you lose an item in either station or on board a train terminating in the Netherlands, please report it as soon as possible.

Lille Europe

You can find further information on misplaced or forgotten items, including opening hours and how to check if an item has been found, on SNCF's website dedicated to lost property.

Stations in Germany

If you’ve lost something at one of our stations in Germany, you can contact Deutsche Bahn's lost property service. You have the option of reporting your lost property online or contacting the lost and found offices at the stations.
